A history of art and craftmaking at Amata since the 1970’s has exploded into one of the most successful South Australian aboriginal art centres. The work of artists at Amata is recognized for the rich and colourful palette and use of diverse media  Important family collaborative works feature. The art centre supports young and old, with young people exploring more contemporary media.
