When the rain comes, and the land absorbs as much water as it can, the creeks begin to fill and flow. It is always good seeing the creeks flow and the arrival of the rains brings a sense of renewal and healing. It tells us that the land has enough water to heal and continue to grow new life. Water is essential to life and sustains the plants, animals and the overall ecosystem. As the water flows, the big creek rocks and rock formations in the gorges become like steppingstones to get from one place to another.
