The Ku Arts Symposium was held on Wednesday 16th October at Elder Hall, University of Adelaide, North Terrace, Adelaide. The event brought Aboriginal artists, art centres and industry professionals together to share stories and present on their recent projects and exhibitions. The symposium provided a way for artists and audiences to connect and learn more about Aboriginal arts and cultural practice from communities across the country.
The Ku Arts Symposium is generously supported by Arts South Australia and Tarnanthi: Festival of Contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art. Ku Arts is supported by Department of Communications and Arts and Department of Premier and Cabinet. Tarnanthi is presented by the Art Gallery of South Australia in partnership with Principal Partner BHP and with the support of the Government of South Australia.
